ItaCRIN - Italian Clinical Research Infrastructure Network

What is ItaCRIN

The National Hub in each Member or Observer Country of ECRIN hosts the European Correspondent (EuCo) who manages the clinical trial portfolio and coordinates the services provided by the National scientific partners (i.e., network of clinical trial units, CTUs), with support from the Paris-based Core Team. These clinical research experts are familiar with the National clinical trial landscape and ensure efficient coordination of multinational trials.

ItaCRIN National Network, coordinated by Istituto Superiore di Sanità (ISS), groups together 11 Clinical Research Organizations and Clinical Trial Units, and offers Italian clinicians and researchers the opportunity to coordinate International projects or participate to them. The possibility of joining multinational clinical research is fundamental both at European and National level for the scientific progress of individual countries and of Europe as a whole, especially in the research areas that can better benefit from the International collaborations (rare diseases, oncology, neurology, cardio-vascular diseases, infectious diseases).
